Everyone else does, so why can't I?

In the Summer of 2007, Danny called me at work one day and said "I have found the most amazing lot." My reply: "Are you smoking crack? We don't need a lot." Well, after literally stalking that piece of property for over a year, we became the proud owners of approximately 2 acres in west Tulsa. It really is beautiful. This picture is what it looked like in the fall of 2008, right after we bought it. As you can tell, Danny has great vision because everyone thought it looked like an overgrown forest, but Danny's vision is always right on. I'll post some recent pictures and you can see the transformation that is taking place.

Now, why a blog? A confession: I've wanted to do a blog for a long time, but just didn't know what I'd talk about...well, we finally sold our house (after 10 months) and that means we can move forward in our quest to be "Livin' La Dolce Vita" in our new (or real as we like to call it) house. I got tired of calling it our "real" house, so we came up with Dolce Vita as the name of our house. Yes, we are going to build our dream, party house and we are excited about it. Well, actually, Danny is going to build it and the girls and I are going to submit our requests and try our best to stay out of the way. We'll see how well that goes.

I thought this blog would be a good way for our friends and family to follow our progress and hear about the other funny things that happen in our lives. Follow us for this ride as we live our sweet life..in more ways than one.
